We provide you a client page for your event. The client page has a planner, timeline and music selection tool. We can also provide you a guest link, for guests requests.
We usually have 1 to 2 face to face meetings and are available anytime for phone consults. We can also be contacted anytime via email or text.
Yes. All of our DJs carry full liability insurance. Copies of insurance information can be provided upon request.
Gratuities given to your DJ entertainer are made at the client’s sole discretion. 10 to 20 percent of the total fee is customary for an excellent performance.
We are a wedding/corporate DJ company. All of our songs are edited and will not contain profanity.
We will discuss your event times with you and have in that in writing. We will then have a plan in place providing that you go over the contracted time. You can leave a credit card on file or pre pay.
Once you decide to book our services, we provide you with a written contract. In the contract you will have the DJ you chose, start & end times and all services that are included with your wedding or event.
A coordinator is vital at some venues to help you with all of your vendors, timelines, decor and rehearsals. The role of a coordinator is very important and is highly recommended. We are very detailed and will plan every detail of your ceremony and reception with you. The details we cover, Ceremony music & reception event music, dance music, order of toasts, grand entrance, dinner and cocktail music. After our meetings we type out a, “DJ Script” and coordinate with your coordinators timeline.
We will always be at least 2 hours early to setup. Depending on lighting and photo booth we may need more time. At Epic we do not rush our events, we want to make sure everything is ready to go without rushing.
We encourage guest requests and offer a guest link to all our clients. With the guest link you can put that on your wedding website, send in invitations or simply email the link. You are the administrator so you can remove any unwanted song.
We work at most venues and can advise you about your lighting. If we have not worked at a venue, then we will do a site survey and advise you about the number of up lights you will need. On average 16-20 up lights cover a normal ballroom. At Casa Romantica, we use 14.
At Epic Weddings, we give our couples complete music control over their day. We will suggest songs and will always be honest with you about your song selections. We are able to play every style of music, Top 40, Oldies, Mowtown, 80s, 90s, Classic Rock, Country, Swing, Cultural and the list goes on. We subscribe to Promo Only and play clean edits of songs that have inappropriate language.
We will let your musician’s plug into our speakers and will have 2 wireless microphones available. We use XLR, 1/4 inch and RCA connections.
We offer wireless microphones and will help coordinate your music selections for all of your ceremony needs. We will go over your music for pre ceremony, seating of the parents, processional, wedding march, special songs and your recessional.
Once you login, click on the music link. The music link will open to the DJ top 200, you will see a most requested tab. Click the most requested tab and that will have a drop down list for all wedding events and dance charts.
We either wear suits or tuxedos for our weddings. We try and match what the groom is wearing. Every now and again we may have beach wedding and will wear Tommy Bahama style attire.
We use QSC speakers, Shure microphones, Apple Imac computers, Apple Mac Pro laptops and skirts for our speakers and DJ facades to hide gear. We also offer Lav/Lapel microphones for your ceremony.
We use Serato and Virtual DJ8 for different reasons. Virtual DJ has a better auto play and will cross-fade cocktail and dinner music. We love working with Serato DJ to work our song mixes during the dance portion of your reception.
